:Mothers clay bar, Megs #9 for the swirl marks, then 2-4 coats of Zymol (Zymol is what I have been using and love it), plusi still have alot left, and then maybe a carnuba like s100 or NXT. How does that sound. I have not had much experience with polishes and waxs, so I am just trying to find out what is the best for my money and most importantly the Z. :What kind of pad should I go with for for my PC 7424. flat or bumpy foam pads? For the swirl marks, should I get a light abrasive pad?
flats work fine and are easier to find than bumpy(which i dont have any experience with). Meg's pads are easy to find but I like the lake country ones better as they form better up over the sides of the backing plate to give a bit of extra protection. You should work it with a finishing pad first and then go to a polishing pad if thats not working. don't be afraid to put a little pressure on the pc when you are working it, I had trouble at first because I was just using the weight on the pc to do the work and the swirls just weren't coming out. Whatever you decide to do top it with carnuba after the curing and you'll be happy :)
